SITTING by Eric Kroll with photographs by John Kayser
Ampersand Editions, 2014, First edition of 300 copies, Unpaginated, 6" X 8", Softcover
Very good (slight crease to upper left corner, otherwise fine)
Fastidiously compiled by Eric Kroll, "Sitting" is the first published survey of works by the mysterious late Los Angeles-based erotic photographer John Kayser - whose massive archive was discovered and partially acquired by the noted photographer and historian Mr. Kroll. This engaging little volume consists of fetishized color Polaroids from the fifties through seventies in which alluring nude models are captured from behind sitting on an array of everything from bearskin rugs to watermelon, cakes, and even a pet cat.
