Artist's book published in conjunction with two Daniele Buetti shows: "INSTANT WORLD," held at Museumsakademie Berlin, September 7 - November 9, 1996 and "ULTRA," held at Espai Lucas, Valencia, February 11 - March 15, 1997.
Buetti reflects on the late-20th century transmutation of the human form into an article of commerce and points out the blurred vocabularies of business and beauty in this eerie artist’s book. Familiar faces and figures from advertisements have been “tattooed” by Buetti with the names of companies and products, expanding the meaning of corporate sponsorship. Printed in black and white on glossy paper: magazine format.
