Published on the occasion of H. Dirnaichner’s 1978 exhibition at Galerie Wittenbrink, this book contains reproductions of the artist’s minimalist gestural drawings and with preparatory sketches for the installation of his these drawings in the space of the gallery. Scratched, painted and drawn directly onto the wall, the artist’s signature marks also unfurl along a piece of cloth that stretches across the space. Photographs documenting the installation are accompanied by a text in German from Christine Brunner.
