Published on the occasion of the exhibition Bochner Boetti Fontana curated by Mel Bochner at Magazzino Italian Art in Cold Spring, New York, October 2, 2020 – April 5, 2021.

An exploration into the work of Bochner, Boetti and Fontana, tracing the parallels between the artistic movements that developed on both sides of the Atlantic during the 1960s and 1970s: Spatialism and Arte Povera in Italy, and Process and Conceptual art in the United States.
